General Maintenance Worker in Fort Wainwright, AK

Performs general maintenance and repair of equipment, buildings and grounds. Requiring practical skill and knowledge (but not proficiency) in such trades as painting and carpentry. Conduct spot removal of vegetation affecting facility use and target visibility. Construct and repair foxholes, firing positions and electrical target pits. Construct, emplace, and repair firing points and position markers, target boots and emplacements and target media. Construct wooden target silhouettes of military equipment based on published specification data. Assist in the installation of equipment on military vehicles prior to live-fire exercises. Perform other tasks and perform work at other lines of business as assigned by the Team Leader in a manner that enhances customer satisfaction. Will adhere to Company, Site Manager, Division Manager and Team leader directives, memoranda, policies and procedures. Support quality/ISO, security and safety training programs.REQUIREMENTS
